Following increasing market demand in Europe for Methylisothiazolinone- (MIT-) free biocide formulations, a collaborate work by Metalub Research and Development team, Metalub Coating division, and Charles University (Prague) to developed an innovative, broad-spectrum biocide for wet-state preservation of water-based paints, adhesives and construction chemicals. This innovative formulation offers powerful extensive protection at target dose levels that will not require EU H317 labeling.
“The new product line is currently offer only to our EU based customers from our production site in Czech republic. we expect to complete product registration and offering in other parts of the world during 2018” said Daniel Hoffman, Head of Metalub operation in EMEA.
